Beyond Christmas Angels was created around a simple but powerful belief: meaningful progress becomes possible when people come together. Remember the Stone Soup story where reluctant villagers contributed their one ingredient to a shared pot of water and a stone?
The Stone Soup Story
Arrival: Hungry travelers arrive in a village with nothing more than an empty pot.
The Opportunity: The villagers, suffering from a scarcity mindset, refuse to share their food, so the travelers fill the pot with water, drop in a large stone, and place it over a fire.
The Contribution: Curious villagers ask what is happening and learn that the travelers are making "stone soup" that only needs a few more ingredients to make it taste wonderful.
The Result: One by one, villagers add carrots, potatoes, onions, cabbage, and meat. After cooking for a while, the stone is removed, and a rich, communal meal is shared by all!
In our BCA Community, every contribution, regardless of its size, can help someone move closer to stability, growth, or a fresh start, and your contribution, no matter how small, automatically qualifies you to receive contributions of the same amount from our community members.
Potential: Contribute $5 and receive $5 love gifts from hundreds, perhaps thousands of other community members. Contribute $100 or more and qualify to receive $100 love gifts PLUS all of the smaller love gifts from our community members!
